Kathy Shoemaker

Kathy is a professional pianist and vocalist has performed all over the US and in Europe, from solo piano work to jazz clubs to pit orchestras. She is an active member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers and Music Teacher’s Association of California where she served for 7 years as chairperson of the San Diego Composer’s Today program.

Currently she is an independent music teacher coordinating a studio of 45 students who participate in statewide music competitions, recitals and adjudicated events. In addition, she owns and teaches at her own Kindermusik studio in La Mesa, CA which serves 100+ families each year with students ages newborn-6 years.
